Howard Bubb
Chief Executive Officer
Howard Bubb has over 30 years of experience in communications, computing and semiconductors. He is currently on the board of Calxeda, a fabless semiconductor company creating low power servers on ARM technology. Bubb has previously served as chairman and CEO Ambric, CEO of Dialogic (DLGC), and held executive positions at Intel including corporate officer and vice president and general manager of Intel¹s Communications Infrastructure Group as well as Memorex Telex Communications Products, United Technologies Lexar and Lexar Corporation. Howard graduated from Caltech with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and holds several patents.
Perry J. Grace
Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Administration
Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Administration Perry Grace has over 30 years of experience in the finance and high-tech industries. Prior to Netronome Perry served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Zilog as well as Ramp Networks, National Semiconductor and Price Waterhouse. Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business Law and Computer Science from Deakin University in Geelong, Australia, and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1983.
Niel Viljoen
Chief Development Officer & Founder
Niel Viljoen was the founding CEO of Netronome and also serves on the Board of Nujira, a mobile fabless chip company. Prior to founding Netronome Niel served as group CTO for Marconi plc after serving as GM and SVP of the FORE Systems Service Provider BU. Niel was CEO of Nemesys Research acquired by FORE Systems and founded a number of startups. Niel attended the Universities of Stellenbosch and Cambridge.
Jim Finnegan
Senior Vice President, Silicon Engineering
Jim Finnegan has over 30 years of senior management experience in the networks and communications business. His career has included senior positions at Intel, Basis Communications, where and was a key member of the executive team that negotiated the acquisition of Basis by Intel. Jim also held positions at Miles-33, Digital Equipment Corporation, Tellabs and Racal Data Group. At Intel, Jim became General Manager of both the Network Processor Division and the Communication Infrastructure Group’s Technology Office. Jim has Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electronic Engineering from The Queens University, Belfast.
Gavin Stark
Chief Technology Officer
Gavin Stark has been designing high speed communications systems for over 20 years At Netronome he is now developing his seventh generation of network processing architecture. Prior to Netronome, Gavin held chief architect and Chief Technical Officer positions at Virata, Cirrus Logic and Basis Communications, which was acquired by Intel Corporation. Gavin holds both an MA and a PhD from Cambridge University, England. Gavin holds several patents in areas including packet processing algorithms and network processor architecture.
Jarrod Siket
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Marketing
Jarrod Siket brings 20 years of IP networking and communications experience to Netronome, including product management, strategic planning, sales, BD and executive management. Prior to Netronome, Jarrod was VP of Marketing at Tollgrade. Jarrod spent ten years at FORE Systems, acquired by Marconi Communications, as a senior director of product management and, later, strategic planning. Jarrod holds an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Information and Decision Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
Ken Way
Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Ken Way has over 17 years of semiconductor marketing and sales experience, during which he has succeeded in growing revenue and market share as well as building sales organizations. Most recently Ken was the worldwide vice president of sales at Tilera. Prior to Tilera, Ken held leadership roles at PA-Semi, Cavium Networks and Motorola Semiconductor (now Freescale). Ken holds a Degree in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Johann Tönsing
Chief Architect & Senior Vice President, Software Engineering
Johann has been active in the digital communications, networking, and information security spheres for more than 20 years, managing product engineering/marketing and performing business planning for large companies like Marconi, as well as founding and managing all aspects of startups. Technologies covered include network security (VPN, firewall, IDS, PKI), Ethernet/IP/optical networking (switching, routing, WDM) and voice/video over IP. He holds an M. Eng. (Electron.) degree.
Mike Benson
Senior Vice President, Platform Engineering
Mike has more than 20 years of experience designing and architecting networking products for both service provider and enterprise networks. Mike has held senior management and engineering positions at FORE Systems, Marconi, Mangrove and AT&T Bell Labs. Mike was a founder of Inviscid Networks. Mike received his M.S. degree from Stanford, a B.S. from Rensselaer and holds patents in the areas of network interface design and packet processing.
LL Cheok
President, Asia-Pacific Operations
Lay Leng Cheok has over 24 years of R&D, business and senior management experience in semiconductor and embedded business. He has held executive positions at several start-ups and business ventures. He was General Manager of Asia Operations, Communications Infrastructure Group at Intel. LL has degrees in Computer Technology from University of Science Malaysia, where he also did post-graduate research in device physics, and an MBA from Nottingham Trent University, UK. He holds one US patent related to USB technology.
Jay Seaton
Vice President, Silicon Operations
Jay Seaton has over 20 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations and supply chain management. Most recently, Jay was the founder of Evolutionary Operations Consulting. He was also senior director of operations at Ambric and held management positions at LSI Logic and AMD. Jay graduated from the University of Michigan with B.S.E. and M.S.E. degrees in Chemical Engineering. He holds a number of patents in semiconductor manufacturing technology.
